Assessment Services

The BYU Comprehensive Clinic provides a variety of evaluation services for ages 6 and up (some limited services are available for children younger than 6). These are provided at a reduced cost to the community as they are provided by students in training. All evaluations are completed under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. Some types of assessments include:
Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Learning disorders
Mood disorders (depression, anxiety)
Psychiatric Disorders (OCD, Psychotic spectrum, Bipolar, etc.)
Personality and Behavior Disorders
Neurocognitive disorders (memory impairment, brain injury, dementia, etc.)
Austism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Assessment Options

The BYU Comprehensive Clinic provides two types of assessment services: 1) Standard Assessment Practicum, and 2) Assessment Externship. This allows the clinic to facilitate community access to testing services and to provide different types of training and supervision experiences for students.

Standard Practicum prices are on a sliding fee scale based on household size and income. Click here to estimate cost of services.

Payment is due at the time of initial service. We do not accept insurance payments or work with insurance companies. Upon request, the Assessment Externship can provide CPT billing codes ("superbill") with your final report so you can seek reimbursement from your insurance provider if desired.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) testing and Neurocognitive testing (brain injury, stroke, dementia) are only offered through the Assessment Externship.
